" I did not know Lucy or have any link to Lucy before my initial meeting and have not been asked to write a testimonial. I have written this testimonial as seeing Lucy has been the single best thing I have ever undertaken for my well being.
I originally visited Lucy to address my severe insomnia having suffered from it for 25 years and having tried numerous alternatives including visiting the Harley Street Sleep centre, all to no avail. I was also at the time of my first visit to Lucy suffering from severe depression, anxiety and stress. Lucy has helped me address all of this.
Prior to visiting Lucy, I had read a huge book on emotional intelligence and the brain and I learnt more in the first session with Lucy about the brain and why we feel and act the way we do than I ever understood from reading the entire book. It was a truly enlightening session and it opened new possibilities for me.
Equally from this first session and the follow up activities Lucy suggested, (none onerous) my insomnia started to improve. I still wake up at night to visit the bathroom, but I don't fight for hours to get to sleep and fight to return to sleep when I do wake up.
But more than this, which is a major feat, I just think more positively and therefore act more positively and for the first time in a long time I feel in control of my life instead of just existing.

"I think people were starting to give up with me ever trying new foods again, I had so many negative comments from people saying how I was now an adult and had no hope of changing and I started to believe them myself, I started to believe I was going to live the rest of my life with my bad eating habits, I thought I would lose my girlfriend because she wouldn't want to put up with my food habits, I started believe I would die at a young age because I didn't have a healthy balanced diet. "I had been scared of dogs for as long as I can remember. My phobia interfered with my profession, and my day to day life. A recent incident occurred when I was unable to step in and help my partner because of the presence of a dog, and this concentrated my mind and made me seek help.
Thanks to Lucy, I am now able to visit work sites where there may be dogs without any anxiety whatsoever, and enjoy country walks without fearing that there might be a dog around every corner.

A few months ago, I felt stuck in a rut. I had an idea of what I wanted my life to be like but it wasn't happening and although I didn't feel really bad, I did feel a bit fed-up and disappointed in myself. By chance I listened to a radio programme where someone had used hypnotherapy to make a huge behaviour change that lasted for the long-term. This was describing me to a tee. I did feel like my issues were classic "first world problems" though but I never felt Lucy judged me or anything like that, just that we could work together to make positive changes. It's been a couple of months of weekly sessions now and an observer would be quite astonished at the positive effects that have already happened.
